Soccer Analyst Chris Sutton Faces Off Against Singer Olly Murs in Premier League Predictions
The Gunners' 10-game victorious run was ended by the Black Cats prior to the international break, however will the Premier League frontrunners recover against local foes Tottenham this weekend?
"{I feel like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," stated soccer specialist Chris Sutton.
"Frank will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still find a way to win."
Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this season, against AI, fans and a range of special visitors.
In week 12, he takes on singer Olly Murs, who is a United fan.
The singer's latest record, the new release, is available on Friday.

Murs is a skilled footballer as well as a successful singer and has been a star of several charity football games over time - but he is not planning a serious return as a player.
"{I actually played in a charity match the other night for a mate of mine," he explained. "The team was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it even now isn't where I want it to be. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too risky for me in my career to do it properly again.
"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the moment that my child or boy decides to play instead."
Murs and his wife his partner have two children, their daughter and Albert, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by taking on the role of their coach.
"I won't force football on our children but I've already told Amelia that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be managing their weekend soccer team," he said.
"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly owned a football club for a period too.
"My father did it with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I get it from. He coached our side for two or three seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Top Division Predictions
Weekend, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues might have to wait a bit longer for their star's comeback from injury but their attack is already more potent with Joao Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.
In my opinion this game will be quite tight, though. Burnley are disciplined and their sole at Turf Moor losses so far have been against Liverpool and Arsenal.
This suggests a 1-1 tie to me, but I am actually going to go with the London side to edge it for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row.
The expert's forecast: 1-2
The singer's prediction: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
AI's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have lost their previous couple matches - albeit both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.
In contrast, the Hammers won two in a row before the international break and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they do look competitive again.
The Hammers' sole away victory this campaign came at Nottingham Forest in August, when their boss Nuno Espirito Santo was still that team's manager.
Therefore, what on earth do I go with here - will it be West Ham continuing their run under their manager, or the home side responding?
I will choose Bournemouth, because I think what occurred against Aston Villa was a blip.
Sutton's forecast: 2-0
Olly's outlook: Bournemouth are doing well but the visitors have improved under Nuno. 2-2
The algorithm's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were seen as one of the frontrunners for relegation before the campaign began, but they have surprised a several people under their manager and are in fine fettle with three in their past four matches.
A family member told me to get Bees striker Thiago in my Fantasy Football team a few weeks ago and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
The forward will probably score again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to pick him or support the away side at Amex Stadium.
The Bees have not had much fortune on the road this term, and Brighton are consistently strong at home. Brentford will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I think Fabian Hurzeler's side pose much more of a threat.
The analyst's prediction: 2-1
The singer's view: It could be one of those games where you expect there is going to be a many scores but it actually turns out to be quite close. 1-1
AI's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a huge game for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their past six games.
Fulham have got plenty of quality in their team but it nonetheless seems like they could be dragged into a drop zone battle.
As for Sunderland, indeed they are the surprise package of the Premier League campaign so far.
The away side's performance in the two-all draw with the Gunners last time out was superb. We've not witnessed anyone else rough up the Gunners like that this term, and they were more than a match for them.
The logical choice would be to back the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of disrupting the hosts up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they defeated Chelsea at the close of last month.
However I am not going to choose that. Instead, I truly need to carry on opposing the away team with my forecasts. I am taking a lot of responsibility for their good outcomes because they clearly enjoy to defy my predictions.
Considering Fulham's at Craven Cottage form, the sole side they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Their manager's side will be extremely desperate for a good outcome, so I am going to predict they will pick up three much-needed points.
The expert's forecast: 1-0
The guest's choice: I'm aware Sunderland are doing well and additionally that the hosts are on a poor streak... but they have nonetheless been decent at home this season. 2-0
AI's prediction: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
It is a tough one to call. The Reds have lost seven of their past 10 matches in all competitions, but might they be among the teams who profit from the {international break|
