Ex- Physician Faces Assault Charges Against Thirty-Eight Patients
Legal authorities report that a former doctor stands accused of performing assaults involving thirty-eight individuals who were patients.
Details of the Serious Allegations
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of dozens of sexual offences – some of which involve some against children younger than 13 – spanning the period from 2017 to 2021.
A deputy chief prosecutor commented, “Legal teams have diligently worked to support a thorough and intricate investigation, carefully reviewing the available evidence to determine that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
Scope of the Police Inquiry
The charges come after what police described as a “detailed inquiry” into reported assaults at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

The charging documents said the 45 charges he is charged with:
- 15 counts of sexual assault.
- Seventeen counts of penetrative assault.
- Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
- 1 count of attempted penetrative assault.
