Automobiles in German Town Found Marked with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Roughly 50 cars have been marked with what appears to be blood from a person in the German municipality of Hanau near Frankfurt, according to authorities.

Vehicles, exterior walls and postboxes were marked, in some cases with swastikas, they reported in a official communication.

Law enforcement say they were alerted in the late hours on Wednesday night, when a resident observed that a vehicle in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish fluid.

The substance had been placed in the form of a banned symbol, they stated.

Law enforcement then found multiple other vandalized automobiles and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under laws prohibiting the visible presentation of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials state initial examinations suggest the substance was probably human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no indication as to its source; officials are presently not aware of any injuries in relation with the incident," they added.

City officials stated they were working "to unravel the mystery" and have asked to the community for information.

An important official stated the attack made him stunned and required to be solved rapidly.

"This act affects the center of Hanau and revives the pain of the right-wing terrorist attack in 2020," he wrote on a platform, mentioning the killing of nine people by a shooter focusing on individuals of immigrant origin in February 2020.
